Current Favorite Hair Products

These are my top 5 current favorite hair products as of lately. Since my hair tends to be quite touchy I like to switch up the products I use pretty regularly but there are a few staples that I always go back to. For reference my hair type is fine/thin and currently at the moment medium in length.

Redken Pillow Proof Blow-dry Express Primer

I spray this Pillow Proof Spray on damp towel dried hair after I get out of the shower. I probably spray about 4/5 sprits on my hair and then I brush it out. This product is basically going to just protect your hair from not only heat damage but it will also extend the life of your styled hair, in essence making it “pillow proof”. I love this product because I can’t even tell it is in my hair, the mist is so fine and it smells amazing.

Kerastase Paris Nutritive Nectar Thermique

This is probably my all time favorite hair product. I place a small dime sized amount into my damp hair, especially focusing on the ends. This product again acts as a heat protectant while also at the same time making it so easy to style your hair. After blowdrying my hair feels so silky and smooth.

Batiste Dry Shampoo

This is hands down the best dry shampoo I have ever tried. I’ve tried quite a bit of dry shampoo’s ranging on all sides of the spectrum and this is the best one I have tried so far.  They have a variety of different scents but this tropical one makes your hair smell like the beach, in the best way possible. It is ideal for blonde hair but I know they sell a “brunette” kind that probably sprays on darker so you won’t get the white residue.

Carol’s Daughter Black Vanilla Leave in Conditioner

I love this product for days where I let my hair air dry or on days where I feel like my hair needs the added moisture. This leave in conditioner is weightless and smells like a million baked cookies were just pulled out of the oven. I spray it on my damp hair and it makes my hair easily detangled.

Theorie Marula Oil Transforming Hair Serum

I’ve only recently started using this hair serum but I got a sample of it in a subscription service and I loved the results so I figured I’d throw it in here as well. It is a light weight hair oil and I put a tiny pea sized amount on my dry hair, focusing it on the ends. It adds the perfect amount of moisture to help my ever so dry and brittle hair.
